GD Jiu-Jitsu & Nova Uniao are proud to announce our new affiliate in Gilbert, Arizona, the Michael Westbrook Self Defense Academy. Michael Westbrook is a brown belt (4 stripes) under Gustavo Dantas who has won many National and International titles, including a gold medal at the 2008 World Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Working together with another GD’s Brown belt (4 stripes), Morris Williams, MW BJJ will represent Nova Uniao very well in Gilbert.

Michael Westbrook Self-Defense Academy offers a wide range of private and group classes, all professionally designed and led, that target your unique needs. You will not be lost in a crowd. The class sizes are limited and offered frequently, enabling its professional trainers to spend the time necessary to maximize results. They offer group and private classes in Jiu-Jitsu, Kenpo Karate, Kickboxing, Boxing and the Filipino martial arts. Their intent is to raise awareness of self, physically, mentally and spiritually.
