Sarah Black IBJJF 2013 World Champion (purple/light)

The Women’s Exclusive Program at the GD Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a class designed to introduce women to the “gentle art” with the comfort of training in an all female environment. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can be intimidating at first, especially since the sport is generally male-dominated, but the Women’s Exclusive Program allows women to learn, train, and develop themselves without the stress and worry of having to prove themselves to their male counterparts. The use of technique and leverage in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is what makes the sport perfect for women, regardless of age, weight, size, or athleticism.

Headed by Gustavo Dantas purple belt and stand-out competitor, Sarah Black, the Women’s Exclusive Program will provide students with many benefits. From increased strength and flexiblity to weight and stress loss, the Women’s Exclusive Program aims to build confident and empowered ladies. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is also an effective form of self-defense for women since it is designed to give power to someone who is smaller and weaker than their opponent.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, defend yourself, become a Jiu-Jitsu athlete, or be a stronger and more fabulous you, the Women’s Exclusive Program can help you get there.
